After hearing about Mads and Lene’s hunting estate in Spain, we knew we had to visit them.
We went there in March 2025 together with two friends, Niels and Sanne.
We were welcomed by Lene upon our arrival at their private hunting lodge, which has a fantastic view over their terrain. It truly has a very special atmosphere.
On the first day, Mads drove us around the estate so we could get an insight into the area. It was an absolutely amazing trip. The place is truly beautiful, with a very hilly landscape and a river running through it. Our expectations were fully met…
In the following days, we went hunting for mouflon. Mads needed to cull some, so we set out to find the right animals. It was not an easy task, but we managed to take down two mouflons each. For me, it was my first mouflon, so it was definitely a great experience.
Lene had arranged a trip to Córdoba for the ladies. Córdoba is a charming old city with a lot of history. We were accompanied by two local girls, and Lene had also arranged a guided tour of the city, making it a really great day.
Later, we also visited Montoro, the nearest larger town, which was also a lovely place.
We had an absolutely fantastic trip with lots of experiences, delicious local food, and great company with wonderful people.

We had long dreamed of hunting mouflon and, through acquaintances, got in touch with Mads.
Excited, we flew to Málaga and drove a little over two hours toward Montoro to the finca. There, we were met by Mads and immediately welcomed into the private hunting lodge, set in the most breathtaking nature.
At the hotel where we were later accommodated, there was a very local and authentic atmosphere. We had a delicious meal, Mads inquired about our expectations, and plans were made for the following hunting day.
The hunting grounds themselves are some of the most exciting, rugged, and beautiful terrain we have ever experienced. We spotted plenty of animals along the way, but it was by no means an easy hunt. Mads is very patient and simply a pleasure to be around, and on the second day, we successfully took down a couple of magnificent mouflons.
Throughout our stay, we enjoyed truly delicious local food, small tapas at the bar, and a drink or two. The hotel staff were extremely welcoming and helpful.
We can highly recommend Mads and his team. Thank you so much for a well-organized and professional experience in a relaxed atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

The Arroya Molino estate is a fantastic natural hunting area with its close proximity to neighboring National Parks. Just a little more than one and a half hours highway-drive from the international airports in Malaga or Sevilla, you have soft – but challenging – endless hillsides reaching into the horizon. Are your great hunting day coming to an end with a terrific sunset in the most remote part of the estate, you will have nearly half an hour four-wheel drive back to the front gate – just to give you a slight understanding of the proportions here.
The three of us, my son, an old friend and I, had a very good time and great hunting with Mads and his staff. And don’t forget: The quality of food and wine included in your stay in Spain is just that very nice extra add-on compared to most other hunting destinations……!

An unforgettable hunting trip to Arroyo Molino near Montoro in Andalusia! It was an honor to experience the magnificent nature and the thrilling hunting adventure.
Shooting a fantastic Muflon was truly an achievement that will be remembered for a long time.
A big thanks to the host Mads for the top-class hospitality that made the whole experience even more memorable. Mads’ and the teams great passion for wildlife management and the property added an extra dimension to the trip.

After some magnificent days in Spain, I would like to share some memories from the trip!
I was in 2012 in Spain for hunting Ronda Ibex. I found out that Spain is an amazing country for hunting. At that time in 2012 Mads was participating in the hunt. So as soon I heard that Lene and Mads had bought their own property in Spain, it was clear to me, that I had to go there.
I went down there together with a good hunting friend from Denmark, and we really looked forward to some exiting days at Arroyomolino. All our expectations were more than full filled. The area is so quite and beautiful, and there was an extraordinary atmosphere as soon as we arrived. We met Mads at the local Hotel near by the hunting area, and had a nice lunch, with perfect Spanish red wine before we went to the place in the area where we should stay. After we had unpacked, Mads told us about the plan he had made for the next days.
Next day we started with a small driven hunt for wildboars. It was amazing to see how well organized this was! Every gun had some nice spots, and everybody had action. For me it all topped when I succeeded in shooting my first driven wildboar.
Next day I went out in the fantastic area together with Mads. We should try to find a selective Muflon male. The hunt wasn’t easy which is good, but at the end I shot a nice Muflon. Before the days at Arroyomolino ended, Mads took us to a local taxidermist, so that our trophies were in the best hands and made just as we wished.
I never had any doubt that this trip wouldn’t be a success because every time Lene and Mads is involved in something, things are not just perfect, they are more than perfect. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you feel a relaxed, humoristic, and professional atmosphere. For sure I will visit Arroyomolino again, and I will recommend it to everybody who are interested in a good hunting experience in Spain. Do not hesitate in contacting Mads and hear about all the different possibilities at the Estate.

I had dreamed of exploring Spain as a hunting destination for a long time. So, the first trip was a hunt for Mouflon at the Great Hunting estate Arroyo Molino just north of Cordoba, about 150 km from Sevilla.
I was welcomed by the owner, Mads, and his helper, Sebastian, in the courtyard of the 1200-hectare estate.
The moment you stepped out of the car, you got the impression that it was a fantastic property with a lot of red stags and mouflons grazing on the slopes, visible from the courtyard.
I shot two magnificent mouflons during the two days of hunting, just what I had dreamed of.
A big thanks to Mads and his team for some well-organized days. Definitely a place I will visit again.

In March, I went on a trip to Spain, more precisely near Montoro. It is a fantastic area where you can be physically challenged in the rugged terrain and at the same time enjoy the view and tranquility at the top. The journey there is simple; you fly to Seville, and from there, it’s only about a 1.5-hour drive.
It is definitely worth one or more trips.
